For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Claudin 1-8 proteins are transmembrane proteins associated with tight junctions, which form specialized regions of cell-to-cell contact acting as molecular gaskets to prevent leakage of ions and water between cells. These proteins are abundant in luminal epithelial sheets and maintain epithelial cell polarity.
Different tissues exhibit distinct Claudin compositions. Differential expression of CLDN3 has been observed in various malignancies, including breast, ovarian, hepatocellular, urinary, prostate, lung, head and neck, and thyroid cancers. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
