Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene acts as a scaffold protein and regulator for three different kinases involved in proinflammatory signaling. It binds NF-kappa-B-inducing kinase (NIK) and IKKs through separate domains, assembling them into an active kinase complex. Mutations in this gene are associated with familial dysautonomia.
