For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

The CDKN2A gene generates several transcript variants differing in their first exons. At least three alternatively spliced variants encode distinct proteins, two of which act as inhibitors of CDK4 kinase. Another transcript includes an alternate first exon located 20 Kb upstream, encoding an ARF protein that stabilizes tumor suppressor p53 by sequestering MDM2.
Despite structural and functional differences, both CDK inhibitor isoforms and ARF share a common role in G1 cell cycle control. CDKN2A is frequently mutated or deleted in various tumors and functions as a key tumor suppressor gene.
