Target Information
Collagen I는 두 개의 알파-1 사슬과 하나의 알파-2 사슬로 구성된 삼중 나선 구조의 Type I 콜라겐입니다. 대부분의 결합 조직(뼈, 각막, 진피, 힘줄)에 존재하며, COL1A2 유전자의 변이는 골형성부전증, Ehlers-Danlos 증후군, 특발성 골다공증, 비정형 Marfan 증후군 등과 관련이 있습니다. 또한, 17번과 22번 염색체 간의 상호 전좌는 피부 종양인 dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans와 관련이 있습니다. 이 유전자는 두 개의 전사체를 가지며, 이는 대체 polyadenylation 신호의 사용으로 인해 발생합니다.
