CTLA4 (Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Antigen 4)는 주로 CD4+ T 세포에서 발현되는 CD28 계열 수용체입니다. CD28과 동일한 리간드(CD80 및 CD86)에 결합하지만, CD28보다 높은 친화력을 가집니다. CD28은 T 세포 기능을 활성화하는 반면, CTLA4는 T 세포 기능을 억제합니다. CTLA4는 조절 T 세포(regulatory T cell) 내에서도 발견되며, 그들의 기능에 중요한 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
