Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, no cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse gp130 or recombinant human IL-27 R alpha is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
In mice, CD4+ helper T-cells differentiate into type 1 (Th1) and type 2 (Th2) cells, which are critical for cell-mediated and antibody-mediated immunity, respectively.
Th1 differentiation is influenced by IL12, while IL4 drives Th2 differentiation. Deficiency in these cytokines or their receptors impairs Th1/Th2 responses.
The gene encodes a protein similar to mouse T-cell cytokine receptor Tccr, predicted to be a glycosylated transmembrane protein.
Diseases associated with IL27RA include Hyper IgE Recurrent Infection Syndrome 4 and Crisponi/Cold-Induced Sweating Syndrome 2.
