Target Information
ADAMTS13는 ADAMTS (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motif) 단백질 패밀리에 속하는 효소로, 프로펩타이드 영역, 메탈로프로테이나아제 도메인, 디신테그린 유사 도메인, 그리고 thrombospondin type 1 (TS) 모티프를 포함합니다.
이 효소는 von Willebrand Factor (vWF)를 Tyr842-Met843 부위에서 절단하는 vWF-cleaving protease로 작용하며, 이 효소의 결핍은 혈전성 혈소판감소성 자반증(thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura)과 관련이 있습니다.
