TREX-2 복합체(ENY2, GANP, PCID2, DSS1, CETN2 또는 CETN3로 구성)의 구성 요소로, mRNA 수출 및 염색체 위치 조절에 관여합니다.
또한 BRCA2를 안정화시켜 R-loop 관련 DNA 손상 및 전사 관련 유전체 불안정성 제어에 기여합니다.
PCID2 결핍 세포에서는 R-loop 축적이 증가하지 않습니다.
