Target Information
Neurogenin-2는 basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) 전사 인자 계열의 neurogenin 하위군에 속하며, 신경능선 세포에서 신경발생에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
마우스의 신경발생 과정에서 Ngn2와 Ngn1은 중추 및 말초 신경계의 서로 다른 전구세포 집단에서 발현되며, 돌연변이 분석 결과 Ngn1은 두개 감각신경절 전구세포의 결정에, Ngn2는 감각신경 전구세포 결정에 필요함이 밝혀졌습니다.
