Target Information
AKR1B10은 316 아미노산으로 구성된 단백질로, 지방족 및 방향족 알데하이드의 환원을 촉매합니다. 인간에서 최초로 보고된 세포질 NADP(H)-의존성 retinal reductase이며, 새로운 NADP 결합 모티프를 포함합니다. 포도당을 sorbitol로 전환하는 능력으로 인해 당뇨 합병증 발생에 관여할 수 있습니다. 부신, 소장, 결장에서 높게 발현되며, 간, 흉선, 전립선, 고환, 골격근에서는 낮은 수준으로 발현됩니다. 간세포암 등 특정 암에서 발현이 증가하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
