Target Information
CD49b (Integrin alpha 2, Integrin alpha 2 chain, VLA-2 alpha chain, HM alpha 2)는 인테그린 패밀리에 속하는 당단백질로, 분자량은 약 150 kD입니다. 이 단백질은 CD29 (Integrin beta 1)과 복합체를 형성하여 heterodimeric integrin VLA-2 (integrin alpha 2 beta 1, 또는 GPIa/IIa) 복합체를 이룹니다. VLA-2는 laminin, collagen, fibronectin에 대한 세포외 수용체로 작용하며, 리간드 결합 시 세포 내 신호 전달 경로를 활성화합니다.
VEGF 유도 혈관신생, 세포 부착 및 림프구 활성화에 관여하는 것으로 보고되었습니다. CD49b는 NK 세포, NK-T 세포, 단핵구, 혈소판, 상피세포뿐만 아니라 적응 면역세포인 T 및 B 세포에서도 발현됩니다. 특히 비장에서의 CD4+ T 세포 아집단, 장의 상피내 및 고유판 림프구, LAG-3를 공동 발현하는 말초 CD4+ type 1 조절 T 세포(Tr1)에서 발현됩니다.
