F-box 단백질은 SCF 복합체의 서브유닛으로서 인산화 의존적 유비퀴틴화 과정에서 역할을 합니다.
이 단백질은 Fbls 클래스에 속하며, F-box 외에도 여러 개의 tandem leucine-rich repeats를 포함하고 핵에 위치합니다.
