Target Information
AFP (Alpha Fetoprotein)은 태아기 동안 난황낭, 장, 간에서 생성되는 주요 혈장 단백질입니다. 성인에서는 간세포암종(HCC) 또는 기형종(teratoma)과 관련되어 발현될 수 있으며, 일부에서는 병리적 변화 없이 유전적으로 지속될 수 있습니다. AFP는 혈청 알부민의 태아형 단백질로, 두 유전자는 염색체 4상에서 같은 방향으로 위치합니다. AFP는 단량체, 이량체, 삼량체 형태로 존재하며, 구리, 니켈 이온, 지방산, 빌리루빈과 결합할 수 있습니다. 양수 내 AFP 수치는 신경관 결손(이분척추, 무뇌증) 선별 검사에 사용됩니다. 혈청 AFP의 높은 수치는 간세포암, 기형아종, 대장암, 췌장암 및 생식세포종양 환자에서 보고됩니다.
