Target Information
KCNK3 encodes a member of the potassium channel superfamily containing two pore-forming P domains. The product forms an outwardly rectifying channel sensitive to extracellular pH, inhibited by acidification, and activated by anesthetics such as halothane and isoflurane. Three transcripts are detected, though sequence confirmation for variants is unavailable.
