ACVR1C (Activin A Receptor Type IC)는 serine/threonine protein kinase로, TGFB 계열 신호 분자의 Type I receptor입니다. Type II receptor와 복합체를 형성하여 SMAD2, SMAD3를 인산화 및 활성화시키며, 이들은 핵으로 이동하여 전사 조절에 관여합니다. ACVR1C는 activin AB, activin B, NODAL의 수용체로 작용하며, 세포 분화, 성장 억제, 세포사멸에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
