For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882) prior to use.

Target Information

PCCA is a key enzyme in the catabolic pathway of odd-chain fatty acids, isoleucine, threonine, methionine, and valine. It likely forms a dodecamer composed of six biotin-containing alpha subunits and six beta subunits, located in the mitochondrial matrix.
Defects in PCCA cause propionic acidemia type I (PA-1), a severe metabolic disorder characterized by episodic vomiting, lethargy, ketosis, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, hypogammaglobulinemia, developmental retardation, and protein intolerance.
