This antibody detects endogenous levels of PRC1 only when phosphorylated at Thr470.
Target Information
This gene encodes a protein involved in cytokinesis. The protein is highly expressed during the S and G2/M phases of mitosis and decreases when the cell enters the G1 phase. It localizes to the nucleus during interphase, associates dynamically with mitotic spindles during mitosis, and concentrates at the cell mid-body during cytokinesis. PRC1 is a substrate of several cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) and is essential for polarizing parallel microtubules and assembling the contractile ring.
