Target Information

NFAT (Nuclear Factor of Activated T-cells) 전사 복합체는 면역 반응을 조절하는 여러 단백질의 발현에 필요합니다. NFAT1(NFATp 또는 NFATc2), NFAT2(NFATc 또는 NFATc1), NFAT3, NFAT4(NFATx 또는 NFATc3) 등 네 가지 주요 NFAT 단백질이 알려져 있으며, 각각 별도의 유전자에 의해 암호화되고 다양한 splice variant 형태로 존재합니다. 이들은 Dorsal/Rel/NFkB 전사인자 가족과 낮은 수준의 서열 유사성을 보입니다. NFAT5는 1~4형과 달리 Fos/Jun 접촉 부위가 부족하며, calcineurin 의존적이지 않은 세포내 위치 특성을 가집니다.
