Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
RASSF1 encodes a protein similar to RAS effector proteins. Loss or altered expression is associated with tumorigenesis, indicating a tumor suppressor role. Inactivation correlates with hypermethylation of its CpG-island promoter. The protein interacts with DNA repair protein XPA and inhibits cyclin D1 accumulation, inducing cell cycle arrest. Seven alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
