• Reconstitution: Add 15 µL or 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• Ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For longer storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

SLC1A5 (Solute carrier family 1, neutral amino acid transporter member 5) belongs to the Na⁺-dependent amino acid transporter superfamily.
It has broad substrate specificity with preference for zwitterionic amino acids and sodium dependence.
Substrates include all neutral amino acids such as glutamine, asparagine, branched-chain, and aromatic amino acids.
It excludes methylated, anionic, and cationic amino acids.
SLC1A5 also acts as a cell surface receptor for feline endogenous virus RD114, baboon M7 endogenous virus, and type D simian retroviruses.
