Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Semaphorin 3A, 4B, and 6C is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
Semaphorins are neuronal chemorepellents that guide pioneering neurons during nervous system development.
CD100 (also known as Semaphorin 4D) is a 150 kDa homodimer that induces B cell aggregation and enhances viability in vitro.
It modulates CD40–CD40L B cell signaling, promoting aggregation and survival while downregulating CD23 expression.
CD72 serves as a lymphocyte receptor for CD100, regulating B cell signaling.
CD100 is expressed on resting and PHA-stimulated T cells, weakly on NK cells, EBV-transformed B cells, monocytes, and tumor/peripheral blood T cell lines, and at higher levels on activated T and B cells.
