• In direct ELISAs, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Neurexin 1 beta is observed.
• Less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat Neurexin 1 alpha and Neurexin 2 beta is observed.
• Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.

Target Information

Neurexins are a family of neuronal cell surface proteins, including neurexin I (NRXN1), neurexin II (NRXN2), neurexin III (NRXN3), and Caspr (neurexin IV).

• Neurexins I–III are expressed as α and β isoforms.
• α isoforms contain LNS domains and EGF regions, binding to neurexophilins and α-latrotoxin.
• β isoforms bind to neuroligins and play roles in synapse formation and remodeling.
• Caspr and Caspr2 demarcate distinct subdomains in myelinated axons and mediate glial-neuronal communication during development.
