This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Human MICB.
Target Information
MICB encodes the highly polymorphic MHC (HLA) class I chain-related gene B. The protein is expressed on the cell surface and functions as a stress-induced antigen recognized by intestinal epithelial gamma delta T cells. MICB is also recognized by NK cells and T cells expressing the NKG2D receptor. The NKG2D–MICB complex induces cytolytic activity against epithelial tumor cells.
