This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
This antibody has specificity for Human MICB/MIC-B.
Target Information
The MICB gene encodes a highly polymorphic MHC (HLA) class I chain-related protein expressed on the cell surface. MICB functions as a stress-induced antigen recognized by intestinal epithelial γδ T cells. It is also recognized by NK cells and T cells expressing the NKG2D receptor. The NKG2D–MICB interaction induces cytolytic responses of T cells and NK cells against epithelial tumor cells.
