Product Specific Information
The Neutralization Dose50 (ND50) for this antibody is approximately 1–5 µg/mL in the presence of 100 ng/mL of recombinant human eotaxin 2, measuring the chemotaxis of rat myeloid Y3 cells transfected with the human CCR3 gene.
Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial.
Target Information
Eotaxin 2 belongs to the subfamily of small cytokine CC genes. Cytokines are secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are characterized by two adjacent cysteines.
The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity on resting T lymphocytes, minimal activity on neutrophils, and no activity on monocytes and activated T lymphocytes. It also strongly suppresses colony formation by multipotential hematopoietic progenitor cell lines.
