Target Information
MAP3K5 (ASK1)는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제로, 인간 심장 및 췌장에서 풍부하게 발현되며, 사이토카인, 성장 인자 및 환경적 스트레스에 반응하여 활성화됩니다.
ASK1은 두 가지 MAPKK 하위 그룹인 MKK4와 MKK6을 활성화하며, 이들은 각각 JNK와 p38 MAP kinase를 활성화합니다.
ASK1/MAPKKK5는 TNFR 및 Fas를 통해 TRAF 계열 및 Daxx 단백질과의 상호작용으로 활성화됩니다.
ASK1 과발현은 세포 사멸을 유도하며, 비활성 형태의 ASK1은 TNF-α 유도 세포 사멸을 억제합니다.
