Target Information
Protein kinase C (PKC)는 세린/트레오닌 특이적 단백질 키나아제 계열로, 칼슘 및 세포 신호전달의 세컨드 메신저인 diacylglycerol에 의해 활성화됩니다.
PKC 계열 단백질은 다양한 단백질 기질을 인산화하며, 여러 세포 신호 경로에 관여합니다. 또한 phorbol ester(종양 촉진제)의 주요 수용체로 작용합니다.
각 PKC isoform은 세포 내에서 고유한 발현 패턴을 가지며, 세포 기능에서 구체적인 역할을 수행하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
