- Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis:
Human, Monkey (100%); Gorilla (95%); Marmoset (89%); Dog, Hamster, Elephant (84%) - For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer.
After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Target Information
The G protein-coupled receptor GPCR GPR81 has been reported primarily in adipose and pituitary tissues.
ESTs have been isolated from human bladder cancer and colon cancer libraries.
It has not been detected in frontal, temporal, and occipital lobes of the cortex, basal forebrain, caudate nucleus, nucleus accumbens, and hippocampus.
