Target Information
PCCA 단백질은 홀수 사슬 지방산, 아이소류신, 트레오닌, 메티오닌, 발린의 분해 경로에서 중요한 효소입니다. 이 단백질은 미토콘드리아 매트릭스에 위치하며, 여섯 개의 생물틴 함유 알파 서브유닛과 여섯 개의 베타 서브유닛으로 구성된 도데카머로 존재합니다. PCCA 결함은 프로피온산혈증 타입 I (PA-1)을 유발하며, 이는 구토, 무기력, 케토시스, 호중구감소증, 혈소판감소증, 저감마글로불린혈증, 발달지연 및 단백질 불내성 등의 증상을 동반하는 생명을 위협하는 질환입니다.
