Product Specific Information

This IA6-2 monoclonal antibody reacts with the heavy chain of human immunoglobulin D (IgD). IgD is co-expressed on the surface of mature naive B cells with membrane IgM and also exists as a soluble form in blood serum. It associates with the B cell receptor and mediates signal transduction upon antigen binding.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells; use at 5 µL (0.6 µg) per test.
A test corresponds to staining cells in a final volume of 100 µL (cell number: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Important Notes:

• NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes such as propidium iodide, 7-AAD, and DAPI.
• Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assays.
• CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01) should be added to antibody cocktails prior to combining with cells (5 µL per sample).
• For single-color controls, add 5 µL of CellBlox Blocking Buffer per 100 µL of cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).
