Product Specific Information

The MU5UBEE monoclonal antibody reacts with human and non-human primate CD185 (CXCR5, also known as Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1, BLR1).
CD185 is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor originally identified in Burkitt’s lymphoma. It is expressed on B cells, CD4+ T cells (excluding Th1 and Th2), and a subset of memory (CD45RO+) T cells.
In tonsil, CD185 is expressed on nearly all CD4+ cells along with activation markers (CD69, ICOS) and plays a role in B cell help and antibody production.
CXCR5 is essential for lymphocyte trafficking, particularly T cell migration into B cell follicles in response to CXCL13, making it a key marker of follicular helper T cells (Tfh).

This antibody cross-reacts with Rhesus macaque.
Pre-titrated and tested for flow cytometry using normal human peripheral blood cells.
Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (100 µL final volume).
Filtered through 0.2 µm post-manufacturing.

Also known as Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1), CXCR5 belongs to the CXC chemokine receptor family and is a G protein-coupled receptor for chemokine BLC.
CXCR5 is expressed in lymphoid tissues such as lymph node follicles and spleen, and plays a critical role in B cell migration.
Expression has been reported in human blood, salivary gland, and multiple animal tissues (lymph node, spleen, bone marrow, brain, liver, etc.).
GPCRs, including CXCR5, are key signaling molecules involved in numerous physiological and pharmacological processes.
