Target Information
Alpha Tubulin은 α 및 β tubulin 서브유닛으로 구성된 heterodimer의 일부입니다. 이 heterodimer는 미세소관(microtubule)의 기본 구조 단위로, 대부분의 진핵세포 내에서 존재합니다.
미세소관은 세포 내 구조적 지지체 및 수송 경로 역할을 하며, 세포 분열 과정에서도 핵심적인 기능을 수행합니다.
α 및 β tubulin은 미세소관의 주요 구성 요소이며, γ tubulin은 미세소관 형성의 핵심적인 nucleation 역할을 담당합니다.
여러 α 및 β tubulin 유전자는 종 간에 매우 보존되어 있으며, 인간 α tubulin 유전자는 Mouse 및 Rat의 Tuba1 유전자와 높은 유사성을 가집니다.
Northern blotting 연구 결과, α tubulin 유전자의 발현은 형태학적으로 분화된 신경세포에서 주로 나타납니다.
