Target Information
CD43 (leukosialin, sialophorin)은 음전하가 높은 막관통형 mucin-like 단백질로, 대부분의 조혈세포 표면에 발현됩니다. CD43은 세포 부착을 방해하는 반발 장벽을 형성하지만, 특정 상황에서는 백혈구 응집을 촉진하기도 합니다.
Ezrin 및 moesin과 같은 actin-binding 단백질과의 상호작용을 통해 T세포 형태 변화와 림프구 이동 중 세포 간 상호작용을 조절합니다.
CD43 신호는 LFA-1의 부착성을 강화하는 동시에, 다른 수용체를 통한 LFA-1 유도를 억제합니다.
CD43 발현은 종양 억제 단백질 p53의 기능적 활성화를 유도하지만, p53과 ARF 결핍 시에는 종양 세포의 증식과 생존을 촉진할 수 있습니다.
CD43은 백혈구 기능의 중요한 조절 인자로 간주되며, Wiscott-Aldrich Syndrome 및 Adenoid Basal Cell Carcinoma와 연관되어 있습니다.
