Target Information
RAB21은 Ras 초패밀리의 소형 GTP 결합 단백질 유전자 하위군에 속하며, 세포 내 소포 수송에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 비편극성 Caco-2 세포에서는 일반적인 소포체(ER) 유사 분포를 보이며, 편극된 세포에서는 RAB21이 세포 꼭대기(apical) 소포에 위치합니다. 또한 RAB21은 인테그린 서브유닛과 결합하여 RAB5/RAB21 엔도솜을 통한 수용체 내재화에 관여합니다. GTPase-활성화 단백질 p120RasGAP은 RAB21과 인테그린 α-꼬리의 중첩 결합 부위에서 경쟁하여 내재화된 인테그린의 세포막 복귀를 조절함으로써 세포 이동성을 조절합니다.
