Target Information
STK3 (MST2)는 MAP kinase 신호 경로 상류에서 작용하는 STE kinase 계열의 단백질로, staurosporine 및 FAS ligand에 의해 활성화되는 세포사멸 관련 인산화효소입니다. MST2는 Hippo 신호 경로의 핵심 구성 요소로, 세포 증식 억제 및 세포사멸 촉진을 통해 장기 크기 조절과 종양 억제에 중요한 역할을 합니다. MST2/MST1 복합체는 LATS1/2를 인산화하여 YAP1 및 TAZ 단백질을 불활성화함으로써 세포 증식, 사멸, 이동에 관련된 유전자 발현을 조절합니다. 간세포 증식 억제 및 종양 형성 방지에도 관여합니다.
