TACC2 유전자는 세포 주기 전반에 걸쳐 중심체에 집중되며, 종양 발생과 관련된 염색체 영역 내에 위치합니다.
적혈구 생성인자(Erythropoietin)에 의해 발현이 유도되며, 유방암 진행에 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
