This antibody detects endogenous levels of total MAGI2 protein.
Target Information
MAGI2 acts as a scaffold molecule at synaptic junctions, assembling neurotransmitter receptors and cell adhesion proteins. It may regulate activin-mediated signaling in neuronal cells and enhance PTEN-mediated suppression of AKT1 activation. Also involved in NGF-induced recruitment of RAPGEF2 to late endosomes and neurite outgrowth.
