Target Information

Collagen I은 두 개의 알파-1 사슬과 하나의 알파-2 사슬로 구성된 삼중 나선 구조의 Type I collagen입니다. 대부분의 결합 조직에서 발견되며, 뼈, 각막, 진피, 힘줄에 풍부하게 존재합니다. COL1A2 유전자의 돌연변이는 골형성부전증(I~IV형), Ehlers-Danlos 증후군(VIIB형 및 고전형), 특발성 골다공증, 비전형적 Marfan 증후군 등과 관련이 있습니다. COL1A1 유전자 돌연변이에 비해 COL1A2 관련 증상은 덜 심각한 경향이 있습니다. 또한, 염색체 17과 22 사이의 상호 전위는 피부 종양인 dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans와 관련이 있으며, 이는 성장인자 발현의 비정상적 조절로 인해 발생합니다. 두 개의 전사체가 확인되었으며, 이는 대체 polyadenylation 신호의 사용에 의해 생성됩니다.
