Target Information
NPM1 (Nucleophosmin 1, B23, nutramin, NO38)은 리보솜 조립 및 수송, 세포핵-세포질 간 단백질 이동, DNA polymerase α 활성 조절, 중심체 복제, p53 조절 등 다양한 세포 기능에 관여하는 인산화 단백질입니다.
NPM1은 핵, 세포질, 핵소체 사이를 지속적으로 이동하며, 핵 단백질의 샤페론 역할을 통해 단백질 응집을 방지하고 효소의 안정성을 유지합니다.
또한 NPM1은 여러 암 관련 염색체 전좌(NPM-ALK, NPM-RAR, NPM-MLF1 등)에 관여하며, 이러한 융합 단백질의 올리고머화 및 종양 형성에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
