IHC(P) analysis shows positive staining of GPR57 in ascending tubules of human kidney.

WB analysis shows GPR57 in glyco-protein enriched fractions from mock transfected or GPR57 overexpressed 293 cells.

GPR57 exists in different glycosylated forms.

Target Information

Olfactory receptor activated by several primary trace amines, including isoamylamine. Activated by isoamylamine and cyclohexylamine, but not to the corresponding alcohols, isoamylalcohol and cyclohexanol. This receptor is probably mediated by the G(s)-class of G-proteins which activate adenylate cyclase. [GeneCards]
