Target Information

CDK3/Cyclin E1은 cyclin-dependent protein kinase 계열에 속하며, E2F 전사인자군을 활성화하여 S phase로의 진입을 촉진합니다. 또한 CDK3는 cyclin C와 결합하여 retinoblastoma 1 단백질을 인산화시켜 G0에서의 탈출을 유도합니다.
CDK3 유전자는 17q22-qter 염색체 위치에 있으며 BRCA1 유전자보다 텔로메어 쪽에 위치합니다. 실험용으로 사용되는 여러 Mus musculus 계통에서 CDK3 유전자에 단일 점 돌연변이가 보고되었습니다.
