This antibody has specificity for Human FLT3/FLK2/CD135.
Target Information
FLT3 is a tyrosine protein kinase that belongs to the growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase family. Activation occurs via binding of the fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand to the extracellular domain, inducing homodimer formation and autophosphorylation. The activated receptor phosphorylates and activates multiple cytoplasmic effector molecules involved in apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. Mutations causing constitutive activation of FLT3 lead to acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
