Target Information
DELE is a recently identified DAP3-binding protein important in death receptor-mediated apoptosis. Cells expressing DELE are susceptible to apoptosis induction by TNF-Alpha and TRAIL, whereas DELE knockdown by siRNA inhibits apoptosis and caspase activation (caspase-3, -8, -9). This indicates DELE’s critical role in apoptosis signaling pathways.
