Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) MIP-2, rmKC, rmCXCL6, recombinant human (rh) ENA-78, recombinant rat (rr) CINC-2 alpha, rmCRG-2, rhNAP-2 is observed.
- Less than 5% cross-reactivity with rrCINC-2 beta and rhMCP-3 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level: <0.20 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).
Target Information
CXCL6 is chemotactic for neutrophil granulocytes and signals through CXCR1 and CXCR2 receptors.
It exhibits strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, approximately 90-fold higher than CXCL5 and CXCL7.
Also possesses chemotactic and angiogenic properties.
