Target Information
CD21 (complement receptor 2, CR2, C3D receptor, EBV receptor)는 C3 보체 조각, 특히 활성화 표면이나 항원에 공유 결합된 분해 조각들과 결합합니다.
CD21은 면역 복합체의 흡수 및 유지, 기억 B 세포의 생존, T-의존성 항원에 대한 체액성 면역 반응의 발달 및 유지에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 Epstein-Barr 바이러스(EBV)의 주요 수용체로 작용하며, 프리온을 여포 수지상 세포로 전달하고 신경 침투를 촉진하는 데 관여합니다.
CD21의 가용성 형태(sCD21)는 림프구 표면에서 절단되어 리간드 결합 능력을 유지합니다.
