PRRG2는 단일 통과 막단백질을 암호화하며, N-말단에 감마-카복시글루탐산(Gla) 도메인과 C-말단에 Pro/Leu-Pro-Xaa-Tyr(PY) 모티프를 포함합니다. Gla 도메인은 세포 표면에 노출되고, PY 모티프는 세포질 내에 위치합니다. PY 모티프는 WW 도메인을 포함하는 YAP1 단백질과 상호작용하며, 신호전달 경로의 일부로 작용할 가능성이 있습니다. 이 유전자는 서로 다른 아이소폼을 암호화하는 두 가지 전사 변이를 가집니다.
