PIP5K1은 Wnt3a에 의해 유도되는 LRP6 인산화에 필요하며, Wnt3a는 frizzled 및 disheveled 경로를 통해 PIP5K1A를 활성화합니다.
PIP5K1A 매개 PIP(2) 생성은 HIV-1의 세포 진입 및 초기 감염 과정에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
PI4P5K1A 과발현 시 HIV-1 Env 매개 PIP(2) 생성이 증가하고, 1차 림프구에서 바이러스 복제가 강화됩니다.
