Target Information
Galectin 3는 galactose-specific lectin으로 IgE를 결합하며, CSPG4에 의해 유도되는 endothelial cell migration을 alpha-3, beta-1 integrin과 함께 매개할 수 있습니다. DMBT1과 함께 초기 배아 발생 중 columnar epithelial cell의 최종 분화에 필요합니다. 핵 내에서는 pre-mRNA splicing factor로 작용하며, 급성 염증 반응에 관여하여 호중구 활성화, 부착, 단핵구/대식세포의 화학주성, 사멸 호중구의 옵소닌화, 비만세포 활성화 등에 관여합니다.
