Background
Triggering Receptor Expressed on Myeloid Cells 1 (TREM-1)는 단일 Ig-like 도메인을 가진 막관통 단백질로, 어댑터 단백질 DAP12와 결합하여 활성화 신호를 전달합니다.
TREM-1은 혈액 내 호중구와 단핵구에서 발현되며, 세균성 LPS에 의해 발현이 증가합니다.
패혈증 환자의 호중구에서 높은 수준으로 발현되며, TREM-1/Fc 융합 단백질은 LPS 유도 쇼크로부터 마우스를 보호하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
TREM-1은 호중구 및 단핵구 매개 염증 반응을 자극하고, 염증성 케모카인 및 사이토카인 방출을 유도하며, 세포 활성화 표지자의 발현을 증가시킵니다.
세균 및 곰팡이 감염에 의해 유도되는 염증 반응의 증폭 인자로 작용하며, 패혈증 쇼크의 주요 매개체로 알려져 있습니다.
