Target Information
CHEK2 (CHK2) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in the DNA damage checkpoint pathway. Mutations in CHK2 are associated with various cancers, including Li-Fraumeni syndrome, breast cancer, and brain tumors. CHK2 phosphorylates several modulators of cell cycle control, such as tumor suppressor proteins including BRCA1, aiding in DNA damage response and cell survival regulation.
